We have had rain. The garden is green and lush. Peter has replanted the vegie beds ready for the winter. The chooks are still lazy and we are only getting 1 or 2 eggs a day. The rhubarb is huge. The eggplants are still producing. We are still getting the ODD tomato. The camillias are blooming and the roses fading. The lavendar is slowing. We are in the process of buying the block next door and I have dreams of a duck pond with ducks. The sliverbeet is beautiful but the kids won't eat it :(. the pumpkins need picking and the vines pulling as the downey mildew is attacking them. The herb patch needs weeding and chillies picking.

It's always so odd to me to think of things in reverse - here you are winding down, while our things are just coming up! Not mine, personally, as we travel and don't do a garden, but I see them coming up here in South Dakota.
