Twelve years ago ....

We got married!

We eloped and married in the Tennant Creek Courthouse.

That's Fern in my arms.

Pete wore his pirate shirt and I wore purple.

Well white wasn't really appropriate.

The flowers hide that I was 7 months pregnant with James.

With seven witnesses.

Janet and her girls were my bridesmaids

Kim acted as Pete's bestman.

Chris and Derek got invited the day before to take photos and video.

And Sandy the teacher who took my job at Murray Downs School got invited while I was having my hair done that morning.

 I giggled most of the way through the ceremony.

I was nervous and happy.

We went back to the house, via the Foodland to pick up cooked chooks for lunch.

Champagne was opened, I had but a sip.

The Town Christmas Tree was in the afternoon where I flashed my newly acquired ring.

Pete,"We're only having two children."

Me, "Well you better marry me, so at least one of them is born the right side of the blanket."

And twelve years on there are now seven children.

And we live in another State.
