Another Dress - this one's for Fern

Between all the piecing of the quilt i made a very simple dress for fern. Only 3 pieces and very simple to piece

Finally Quilting again!!

Finally got my quilting mojo back. This is a very simple Trip Around the World with the theme of the sea. I haven't named it yet :). It's being backed with polar fleece to make it soft and cuddly. I'm going to hand quilt this one with Cotton Perle 5 and 5mm stitches. It still needs it's appliques put on. I'll do that after quilting. shhhh. don't tell the quilt police :)

This is a commissioned piece. Which is very overdue. But after dad's death I just couldn't get into it for a while there. I've been feeling so guilty over not getting this done. But now I'm working on it I feel so enthused and excited :)

Sewing marathon

A dress for Lilly. made from the fabric I got from the op-shop the other day.

A little swing top and matching pantaloons for Miss M. Part of a swap I'm doing with the lovely Donna. The fabrics were Op-shop finds and the pattern I drafted myself.

The shorts I've made for Mr L. I added pockets to these. I never put pockets in my own boys shorts because I'm too lazy to check them when I do the wash!

And for Mr K a pair of summer Jarmies. The fabric was also found at the op-shop!

Out in the Garden

The Mulberry Tree is loaded with fruit! And the kids have constant purple hands and faces right now. I've only made one lot of jam so far. Been a bit lazy with the cooking

The Strawberry plants are producing. I'm eating them straight out of the garden the kids don't get a look in!

The Broccoli is heading and we have picked our first lot for dinner.

And the raspberry canes are loaded with fruit .. oh I so can't wait for the Raspberries.
