A productive garden

This morning I picked these from the garden.
There's also a pile of tomatoes that also need picking.
The heat has done a lot of damage to my poor garden.
Today is also forecasted to be 40 plus.
We have 4 rain water tanks and these are used to water the garden.
The apples are almost ready to pick.
Fern and I tried one while we did the morning pick.

Our one winged, nine lived, Rooster Rocky.
The others are this years chicks. They have grown.
We still don't know which are roosters and which are hens.

Sir Frances The drake is in the background on patrol of his domain.
He's a lovely drake, very placid. I often go and chat to him. He's a great listener too.

The Lilly Apron

Made from Quilters cotton and a vintage doily.
This little apron will delight a young chef.
Size to fit 4 to 7 years.
It features:

1. Extra long ties, lots of room to tie a nice big bow.
2. The neck strap closes with a snap, allowing for easy dressing.
3. A pretty pocket to keep the little chefs essentials in.
