Michael is playing with the mirror on his rocker! He just discovered it and has spent ages smiling and pulling faces in the mirror. He's gurgling and kicking his legs and waving his arms. I got the camera and took a photo. And I'm sitting here just watching him.

Where have I been?! I completely missed the birth (although I was recovering from basal cell surgery but still . . .). He's absolutely beautiful--and yes, the newborn stage is like the blink of an eye. I'm glad he's here, safe and you are obviously enjoying him so much and so is the rest of the family! Congratulations. My Ben, only son, is 15, weighs over 200 lbs. and is 6'2" tall.
