Up bright and early.
We traveled over to Port Hughes to spend the day with our good friends from Tennant Creek.

Down on the beach we go. Following the kids who dashed for the sea.

There are rock pools to explore.

Go Michael!!! Look at him, he is so cute :)
They grow up so quickly, don't you think?! It looks like you had a wonderful day at the beach. We had snow here today!!
What a fun day at the beach! Scruff is just adorable. You have a great blog - thanks for the bag-in-a-pocket tutorial. We're starting to use the re-usable bags here in the states too. Its a great way to use those fun fabrics!
Congratulations Michael! Looks like a lovely day was had by all including scruff! I have been having major craftymamas withdrawals. Over the past week I think my computer has let me into the site twice. We think it is something to do with the new virus program but dang if we can't fix it already argh!
Where's Mum in her new bathing suit?
Oh, he is growing up so quickly!
Goodness, I have just spent the best part of an hour reading and reading right back to the beginning of your blob..... what a pleasure, what a beautiful family you truely are, and oh so talented.....
Cant remember how I got here, it was via someone via someone else LOL
x
One little scruff and one Michael walking is going to make for one busy Mummy.
Good luck...much as I used to anticiapate 40+ preps of 4.5yrs with joy around this time of the year, I seemed to be in a different body back then. Now I can only be grateful I do not need to know when term starts.
37C here tomorrow. I even accepted a morning instead of an afternoon appointment to avoid some of it. Have even pulled down the kitchen awnings.....Feb is coming.
Oh...I love our winters, but I must admit some sun and a warm breeze would be lovely about now. (We live in the midwestern United States and we've had 8 inches of new snow in the past couple of days.) BTW I am dying to make your eight point skirt for my 2 grandbaby girls but I think I'll wait for the weather to warm up a bit!
Great pictures. Scruff has got to be the best dog name ever.
I think your wee Scruff is related to my Bear [Hamish MacBear, aka Scruffyman ]
come visit and see what you think
cheers!
