I love making these dolls. So quick and easy.
The FREE pattern is HERE on my blog.
My Christmas sewing is getting done.
The quilt I'm working on is basted for quilting. I'm dreading quilting it.
It's huge 97 inches by 76 inches.
My shoulders are going to kill me by the end.
I should set up my John Watts quilting frame and do it on that...
but then I would of wasted all that time basting it!
Another Jewel Bag.
I used scraps from the quilt I'm working on to make this one.
A tutorial to make this bag is also on the blog. HERE
I've updated it by adding a PDF to download.
See why I call them 'Jewel bags'?
The end shape looks like a jewel.
How do I get so much time to sew?
I've recently stopped working. Baby is getting heavy.
Baby is due in about 6 weeks! The time has flown by.
I have the normal aches and pains of pregnancy, they just seem worse at my advanced Maternal age of 43!
Another secret to my sewing time.. Is a BAD mummy thing to do....
Step 1 - Go to itunes and download an episode of Go Diego Go
Step 2 - Load it to the iphone
Step 3- Give iphone to Toddler
Step 4 - Sew like mad while he is mesmerised!
Plus I'm married to a wonderful man.
Who encourages me to spend time on the things I love to do.
Who gets the kids up for school so I can rest.
Who doesn't begrudge me the money I spend on my crafts.
Next week will be the 13th anniversary of our first 'date'
I invited him to my birthday party to celebrate my 30th and little did I know he would become the most important person in the world to me.
